What we collect

Nothing. Viço does not collect any personal data, usage data, crash reports, or analytics of any kind.

Accounts

There are no accounts. You do not sign up, log in, or provide an email address. Nothing links your device to any identity we or anyone else holds.

Network requests

The app makes no network requests. There is no backend, no API, and no cloud service of any kind behind Viço. All computation happens locally on your device. This is why the app works without a connection.

Camera permission

Viço requests access to your camera for one purpose: capturing a photo of a leaf so the on-device model can analyse it. The photo is processed immediately in memory and is never written to a file without your explicit action, never transmitted, and never stored outside your device.

Photos

Photos you take in the app stay on your device. They are not uploaded, not shared, and not accessible to us or any third party. If you delete the app, any stored photos are removed with it.

Notifications

If you enable watering or feeding reminders, these are scheduled locally on your phone using the operating system's notification system. No notification passes through any server. We have no visibility into whether or when notifications are delivered.

Third-party SDKs and trackers

None. Viço includes no analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or third-party tracking libraries.

Children

Because we collect no data, Viço is safe for users of any age. We do not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes in a meaningful way for instance, if we were to add any form of data collection we will update the date above and note the change clearly. The current version will always be at this URL.
